Support — Keep In Touch (KIT)

Last updated: 5 August 2026

Keep In Touch ("KIT") is a personal CRM for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It surfaces two or three people to reach out to each week, based on how far each one has drifted past the contact cadence you set for them.

Questions, bug reports, and feature requests: support.kit@okke.me

It helps to include your device and OS version, and — for anything involving sync — whether the devices concerned are signed in to iCloud.

Common questions

My people and conversations are not appearing on my other device

KIT syncs through your own iCloud account, using Apple's CloudKit private database. Check that:

Sync is not instant. It usually settles within a minute, though a device that has been offline for a while takes longer to catch up. If you are not signed in to iCloud, KIT falls back to a purely local store on each device and nothing syncs — that is by design, not a failure.

KIT is not suggesting anyone

That is the intended behaviour when nobody is overdue. KIT deliberately under-suggests: if everyone is still within their cadence, the board tells you that you are all caught up rather than inventing work. People reappear on their own as they drift past the cadence you chose for them.

Someone keeps being suggested and I am not ready to contact them

Anyone suggested three weeks running without action moves to the back burner automatically. You can also toggle that yourself in the person's detail view. Logging a real conversation brings them back into rotation.

My streak did not go up

The streak counts consecutive weeks with at least one logged conversation. A single contact is enough to keep a week alive, and the current week never breaks the streak until it is over. Weeks start on Monday.

KIT cannot see my contacts

KIT asks for Contacts access so you can pick people from your address book instead of typing names, and so it can import birthdays and other important dates. You can grant or revoke this at any time in system Settings. Revoking it does not remove anyone you have already added — KIT keeps working with them.

Avatar syncing from Beeper (Mac only)

The optional Beeper avatar sync talks to Beeper Desktop running on the same Mac, over local loopback. Beeper Desktop needs to be running for it to work, and the feature does not exist on iPhone or iPad.

How do I delete my data?

Deleting the app removes its local store. To remove synced data as well, delete the app's data from iCloud in system Settings → your Apple Account → iCloud.

Requirements

KIT runs on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. iPad is the primary layout; the same app adapts to the other two.

Privacy

KIT has no server, no account, and no analytics, and the developer cannot see your data. The full policy is published at kit.okke.me/privacy.
